Among this chaos, there is a man who is humble, selfless and generous and craving to the needy. Yes! You have heard it right, in this selfish world, where people trying their best to avoid their and surroundings. A man named Braja Kishore Pradhan, an entrepreneur from Bangalore witnessed many struggles of under privileged communities in his surroundings. The struggle and issues faced by them, made Braja to think about starting an NGO.

Braja Pradhan, started to take his initial steps in his college days by voluntarily participating in many fund raising events, charity related programs and other social events. In those days, he came to know how a small help to the people in need, can change their life and their future. He understood that our society needs a change and he started to work for that rentleslessly.  From there he invented Aahwahan Foundation, an NGO service that helps people effectively at the ground level.

A Look at Aahwahan

Braja Kishore Pradhan founded Aahwahan in 2009, with a motto of helping the economically backward sections of employment across various sectors. Aahwahan works with a goal to eradicate poverty and to provide the under privileged people with their basic needs. So, brajakishorepradhan started Aahwahan Foundation to bring equality in the society through its various measures focused on eradicating poverty, unemployment, women inequality and promoting girl’s education. 

The NGO started to work on the remotest areas and the most economically backwards region of the country to promote the welfare of the people. It continued to undertake various initiatives to create the socio-economic wee-being of the people. The Aahwahan Foundation primarily focuses its efforts on bringing the growth and development of rural India while uplifting all the sections in a particular area.

The Rocket Man of India, Dr. K. Sivan in his acknowledgement speech mentioned that, he is impressed by the kind of work that the NGO has undertaken for the growth and development of the society as a whole. He also pointed out how remarkable and notable the NGO’s efforts are and the wished the team for their excellent work done by the Aahwahan Foundation.

Some Remarkable Services by Aahwahan

Trees are the best asset that a present generation can leave behind for the future. By considering the importance of trees and its benefits, Aahwahan launched the Go Green Campaign under which we planted 1.5 million trees.

Another astonishing service done by Aahwahan foundation was the “Organic Village”, under which Aahwahan adopted a village. And Aahwahan also helps the village to grow and develop in an efficient way. It also includes providing organic training to the farmers with required tools and technology
